Mission

Alliance Animal Imaging was created with the goal of expanding the services that smaller general practice clinics are able to offer to their clients and patients. This dream was shaped with three main considerations in mind.

1. To allow pet parents to work with their local veterinary teams that they know and trust, during some of their most stressful moments.

2. To minimize patient stress by decreasing travel outside of their city.

3. To ease the overburden on emergency and referral centres, and allow them to see their ever increasing patient load more efficiently.

Meet myself (Pam) and my boy Blue (my heart dog and the inspiration behind the Alliance Animal logo). Blue came into my life in 2016. He’s the dog that truly opened my heart to how much of a difference an animal can make in the life of a human, and solidified the idea that I wanted to spend my life caring for them in return. I grew up in Southern Alberta, and made my way north to attend Olds College in 2018. Since then, I’ve spent 6.5 years in my dream clinic, building my skills and exploring the various areas of veterinary medicine that brought me joy.

By 2024, I had settled comfortably into my role, and loved the many relationships I had built with clients and patients alike, but was looking to expand my skill set. This is when the idea behind Alliance Animal was born. I sat down with my bosses to discuss the potential plan, and received 100% of their support, enthusiasm, and advice. They gave me the time off work that I needed to get the appropriate training, and they gave me the space and time in their clinic to get the practice that I needed. I would not be offering these services today without their support, and I feel so blessed to have been a part of their clinic and lives.

In my spare time, I love taking my Blue-dog out to find some birds, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, camping - really all things outdoors. I also coach a local school’s girls basketball team, which is one of my very favorite things. I love being a part of my local community and can’t wait to join you in yours!

  • To the amazing instructors and staff at the Academy of Veterinary Imaging in Texas and California, and Sonopath in New Jersery. Thank you for giving me the confidence and encouragement that I needed to add sonography to my skill set.

  • To Andrew and Michael & your team - for welcoming a new grad into your clinic so many years ago, for mentoring me encouraging me in every step of my life. For wanting nothing for the best for me. And for teaching me that the best patient care starts with caring for the clients that entrust us with their pets.

  • For the advice, support and encouragement you’ve given me to turn this dream into a reality. For the patience you’ve had with me while I navigate something new, and for giving me the confidence to keep pushing through.

  • For the countless blessings I receive every day. For all of the people listed above that He has placed in my life. To Him be the glory.

  • For being the goofiest, snuggliest, smartest, most type A doggo I have ever met. Forever my best boy.
